Karen's design help resulted in a stunning, unique garden that not only conveys my style, but the feel and look I was hoping for. Karen is one of those people you keep going back to over time. I recommend her wholeheartedly. She is responsive and knows her stuff, sure, but she also has an "eye" and quickly gets a sense of a project. Here is an example... I was thinking about a curvy & fluid garden/patio when I met Karen. We spent some time together (before I had even hired her services!!) and she surmised (correctly) that I am a formal person with a formal house. Her idea?

A formal French garden. She designed it down to the inch and helped me pick out the hardscaping. I was so sad when she moved west - but she left me with more design ideas and details than I could squeeze into one season! In fact, over the years I have continued to count on Karen's advice as I add to this spectacular garden.

Here are pictures of the design with edging boxwoods planted, then other plants and furniture placement over time. It is a true joy to watch the plants change (boxwoods are so fluffy in the spring!) each season and to share Karen's design with my family and friends.
